Currently fields can be defined to be searchable or not. This also sets whether they show up as a sort option when browsing categories. That's not great, sortable and searchable are pretty disjoint concepts. Sortable should be a separate option.

If the usergroup selected at signup is paid (or if no selection available, if the default is paid), tie member validation direct to usergroup signup, and integrate usergroup signup into the join process.

Show usergroup costs in the dropdown list of usergroup choices.
