CSS is getting support for calculating colors at run-time:

https://www.w3.org/TR/2020/WD-css-color-5-20200303/

This means we don't need to do it in Tempcode anymore.

I also wonder if it is possible for the image manipulations we do to be done in CSS now, or for those images to be CSS-generated to…

Feature suggestion: Having the ability to create random point codes / links that, when typed into a page or the link is visited when logged in, can credit you with a certain number of points as defined by the set option.

Uses:
*Earning points for things off-site / that you can't normally earn, such as…

When adding a news entry, you may want to put it in a category that does not exist yet. Allow doing this kind of thing. It applies to pretty much any kind of category in the system.

This issue describes small changes we can make to our web compatibility. It is somewhat of an idea dump, that we update as we become aware of improvements we can make at some undefined point in the future, and to help our technology planning.

The issue will be periodically updated as new releases come o…

We have category ownership for:
- Galleries (personal galleries)
- News categories (blogs)

News categories works via a nc_owner field. If nc_owner is set, it's a blog.

Galleries has both a g_owner field, and a concept of personal gallery based on the name of the gallery. I think really we only ne…

I think it would come in handy, given the complexity of setting up subcommunities, to have a wizard for it, like themes have a theme wizard. The subcommunity wizard would aid the user in setting up the following items, give or take, not limited to this list:

*A zone for the subcommunity, and a zone mapp…

This is a thought. How about having a personal page for clubs? For example, some content management systems and social networks allow users to have and customize a page for their groups and pages. These pages would be a central hub for activity relating to that group. The page would also have a group cover…

Setting up individual blocks may be difficult for people, especially if those blocks require additional structure or content to go with them.

1) Introduce an ability for blocks to define a configuration wizard, as a method within the block.
2) Add a shell page in the Admin Zone that can run the wizard…
