I have a suggestion for the Point Store for v11 or 10.0.32. I could be mistaken, but I do not believe there is currently ( 6-30-2020 ) a way to add an image(s) to a Point Store entry. On my Composr website, I use the Point Store to offer items that I will send out to people via regular Postal Service. Smail Mail. Things like books and flash card and other things. When I add an item for purchase in the Point Store, there does not seem to be a way to add an image of the item to be sold for Points. It seems to only allow a text description of the item that will be sold for earned Points. I usually include a link to a Forum post that includes a picture(s) of the item, because there does not seem to be a way to include an image in the Point Store. It seems like the editing capability for the Point Store is the simple editor, not the more complex editor that allows images and rich text.

Good point. I've added images for custom items in v11. (Btw point store and regular store are merged in v11).

Right now you can probably use a Comcode [img] tag to add it to the description.

  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about Composr whenever you see the opportunity or support me on Patreon.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying Composr on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
