Hello,

I have set up a new zone with its own special template, I used the redirects so if a guest in the new zone clicks to downloads or wiki it stays with the new zones templates.....  but for news, if they click "read more" it reverts back to the base welcome template.

I tried to redirect news as i did with downloads, wiki but no luck.  Would appreciate any pointers on this.

thanks tons

Probably a caching issue. You can confirm via temporary disabling the block cache with &keep_cache_blocks=0 in the URL.

Are we talking about you placing the news block and links from that block, or links from the news archive?

Hello,

It was my fault, I had created a comcode page called "news" in the new zone. I tracked it down and deleted it. then in the new zone I edited the news block and in advanced setting changed _SEARCH to the name of the new zone.  Cleared cache and now it works great.

Thanks much

In the ideal world if it has _SEARCH then it would search separately depending on the zone it is displayed in, but the cache will break that.
Setting the zone manually is a great workaround.
