accessibility and the top menu.

I see that the top menu is now by default auto-generated. I would prefer to use the top menu for links to our store/studio. Then I can place links to products and services in a menu at the top of the left panel so visitors would see both menus as they land on our home page. So I clicked on the icon/link to edit the menu, and chose to manually update my menu and clicked Save. Ok, now I can't find a link to edit the menu in either Jaws or Window-eyes screen reader and when I go to the menu management module the top menu does not appear in there either. Does anyone have an idea

It should be there under the list of menus as "main_menu" or "Default" if it is currently empty.
I did just find a issue editing menus that are very large, but I doubt this is related to your issue.
I did also find the inline menu editing links (and some other inline links) were not accessible. The normal title attributes of the link tags are being converted into fancy tooltips, and the images inside those links have no alt text. I have attached a fix for this, and the other issue I found.
