Getting Error when editing link

Hi, there.

Since latest upgrade (10.0.34 to 10.0.35) I am unable to add or edit any link in the News section.

After I click on link or edit it, I am getting next error:

After that, whole page become grey (notning works anymore, I cannot click or terminate it), only help is fully refresh.
Then, I am getting this popu-up:

All worked fine since latest update, I did not get any error message due to update process. All goes smooth like previous updates.

And one more:
Instead of current date all news are pointing to this date and time:

Any help would be very aprechiated.
Thanks in advance.

Wish a nice day to all!

For the WYSIWYG issue, I suspect something is not updated correctly. We upgraded CKEditor in the latest patch release, which will mean some new files, some old files deleted, and many changed files.

Try replacing data/ckeditor with the same folder from the manual extractor (on our download page). Make sure to fully delete the old folder before putting up the new folder, as any old left behind files may be the cause of the issue.

As for the other issue, I will move that to a separate topic.

Thanks, Chris, for your reply. I did all what you wrote: dl 10.0.35 version for manual upgrade, delete whole content on server in folder data/ckeditor, then I uploaded whole content from latest release back to server.

Situation is same as it was. I am still unable to edit any link inthe news or add new link.
Whole page just freeze, become grey and it is not editable anymore (I cannot edit any field). After page refresh I can starts from beginning, only auto-saving message appears and helps me with most of auto-saved content…

Any other solution?   I can only do full manula update of all folders, but not sure if this might help.
I remember that there - in process of upgrade 34 - to - 35 - there were several files that I could mark them "to be deleted", but I did not pay attention on that… :(

Thank you.

Try emptying your browser cache. Does that help?
Do you have the same issue on this site?
Does it happen in multiple web browsers?

Dear Chris!

All works FINE now. I did emtying my browser cache (using Chrome only) and now works like a charm!
I will pay much more attention with next upgrades, it looks I did missed somethink and because of that did not worked correctly.

Sorry to bother you with that, but I really appreciate your help with that. Page is back with normal links, I was able to edit them and add new ones.

Best regards,

Good to hear.

CKEditor does tend to get stuck in the browser cache, which can indeed be a problem on upgrades if some files from it are cached but others are not.
