Hello, I am attempting to add an Additional usergroup membership when Editing a user profile. I am logged in as Admin, I select the appropriate usergroup from the dropdown of the edit box, the usergroup is selected but after hitting the Save button I get "The information you're about to submit is not secure" message. After choosing Send anyway the page returns to the user profile but nothing has been updated or saved. No error messages other than the one I mention above, and the additional usergroup has not been added to that user profile.
I'm not sure what I am getting that message related to security. I do have https configured for the web site. However, I did notice that after clicking on the Save button the URL looks like this:
Okay, I dug around admin settings a lot and found the section on SSL/TLS configuration. I just assumed that all pages would default to using SSL/TLS but apprently I was wrong. Quite a few pages were not set to use SSL/TLS by default. Once I set all of those pages, everything appears to be working as I would have expected.
I no longer get any message related to 'not secure' and I am able to apply settings changes and save them properly...including assigning a user to a new usergroup.
You can ignore my previous request to help...but thank you very much for previewing this post and giving it some consideration.
That seems a little weird to me as I have an install without the SSL addon (most sites are using https by default now). If your server is http though, I guess this would make a difference. Glad you got it sorted
