Problems with 10.0.28 upgrade

Attempted upgrade from 10.0.27 to 10.0.28.  I have a strange problem afterwards. 

No profile of any member who has an uploaded avatar can be changed.  It will allow changing to a stock avatar after which any of the other fields can be changed.  However, as soon as you upload a new external avatar, it goes back to not being able to change anything else.

Thoughts?

UPDATE: I just noticed the post Unable to use "Preview" or "Save" when editing articles.  Seemed to be close enough to my problem that I went ahead and tried the 3893 hotfix.  It appears to fix my problem as well. - Thanks.
