URL links not working in menu

A menu item that goes to :irc_chat:browse will be visible.
A menu item that goes to Google will not be visible.
It doesn't matter if there's an https:// in the url or not, either way it doesn't display the menu item if it's a url. I'll post more if I figure it out, but t might be something.

Maybe since the last update (speculation) the direct URL's to internal or external webpages causes the menu item not to show up.
