Shows too much of the blog in side panel

I added a blog and wanted to display the blog title on the side panel menu (block_main_news). So fine it does. But the side panel shows way too much of the blog post beyond just the title of the blog post. I really only want to show the title but I am also getting a bunch of the blog too.Is there a switch or control somewhere? The boldness of the title is too strong for my needs, Im guessing that can be changed on the css file for news?

Also can I change the side block title from "news" to something else?

Why not use the side_news block instead of the main_news block?

The title is a block parameter, it should be easy to set when adding the block.
