Gift Point Giving

For when members give other members Gift Points, is it possible to add something similar to Roles like on here?
Obviously I don't want to mimic what's on here, but it would be better to have a website related reason and then they can add more (again, similar to this site).
I'm not much of a coder, so wondering if it's something semi-easy to do or if I'd have to dig into a bunch of files to add stuff.
