I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this issue, but here it is:

I made a fresh installation of Compors RC5 using the quick install script. Installation went without problems, the same with initial configuration.

But now when I made the first forum post logged in initially as admin but using SU ->  regular member, I get both success and error messages:
"Your action was successful."

PHP NOTICE [8] Undefined index: c_needs_dereference in sources/config.php on line 247 (version: 10 RC5, PHP version: 5.4.45, URL: /forum/index.php?page=topicview&id=website-comment-topics%2Fsivuston-rakentamisesta&post_id=2&keep_mobile=0&keep_su=My+UserName&redirected=1)
….
And when I try to open the post:

"A configuration option (enable_views_sigs_option) which does not exist was referenced"
"PHP NOTICE [8] Undefined index: c_needs_dereference in sources/config.php on line 247 (version: 10 RC5, PHP version: 5.4.45, URL: /forum/index.php?page=topicview&id=website-comment-topics%2Fsivuston-rakentamisesta) "
….
The post is there (the title is shown) but regardless what role I use I can't open it.

Hi,

Sorry for the bug. We'll fix this, but a workaround is to install the cns_signatures addon back on from Admin Zone > Structure > Addons.

  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about Composr whenever you see the opportunity or support me on Patreon.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying Composr on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Thanks again Chris,

I'm experimenting with things and stumble all the time…

Well, this is clearly a bug. If you are finding other bugs, or just find certain things confusing, please report - we want the experience to be as smooth for people as possible :).
