Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to make the boxes in the gallery bigger, or at the very least make it show more of the title, it cuts off alot of each title with dots. Thanks

Hi,

Yes, I think if you edit the galleries CSS file, it contains some comments about how the boxes are sized. Basically you put the numbers up.

Admin Zone > Style > Themes > Edit CSS > galleries

Ok, I got the box bigger by editing galleries.css but it didn't seem to help the fact that the titles are being cut off with dots at the end. How can i enlarge the title field below the thumbnail inside the box. I attempted to change the title cropped field in galleries.css but it didn't seem to have any affect.

Oh yes, actually this is in a template.

GALLERY_IMAGE template, look for TRUNCATE_LEFT, there's a number by it. GALLERY_VIDEO too.

Thanks, this worked. On some of the videos that are a larger resolution the video box/thumbnail sometimes will be way too big and take up most of the screen. Is there a way to limit how much screen the videos take up?  Sorry if this isn't making alot of sence i am fairly new to this

I'm not sure I follow, a screenshot would help me understand better.

It sounds like you're talking about the actual video-entry-viewing screen, rather than the thumbnails. That said if you have flow mode on the gallery it is on the same screen.

If it's the actual video you can set the size of the video in it's settings.

The MEDIA_VIDEO_WEBSAFE template already constrains to a maximum width of 1000:
width: {$MIN,1000,{WIDTH%}},

For interest was it a really large width that was auto-detected, and you reduced it down? Was it overflowing off the screen/boxes?

Yes it was an auto detected fairly large width video that was overflowing off the main screen, setting 650 in the option instead of 1000 seemed to fixed it.

I've run some tests and I could reproduce, I'm making a number of tweaks for the next release, basically the constraining will be fixed and also down to 950px instead of 1000px.
