| Summary | 0001083: Commandr-fs handling of drag & drop | ||||
| Description | A cool feature would be if you could drag files from your desktop onto icons in the CMS/Admin-Zone, and that would tie into the appropriate Commandr-fs handler to 'copy' them. E.g. drag a load of word documents onto the News icon, to add them as news. E.g. drag a load of jpegs onto the IOTDs icon to add them as IOTDs. Generally it could be implemented across Composr (e.g. over blocks) with a system of dropspots defined by CSS classes. If dropped somewhere with no dropspot, all the Commandr-fs hooks would searched to see what might be able to handle the file, and an overlay is used to ask the user what to do. Wordpress demonstrates how to make a great UI for drag and drop upload: http://wordpress.org/news/2012/12/elvin/ | ||||
