| Description | This is a holding issue to describe and discuss the overall set of approaches to mobile the Composr project has in play. Composr has a 3 prong approach to mobile improvements. 1) Tapatalk. We have support for Tapatalk for forums, and hope to extend this to also embed other content in there via virtual topics. Tapatalk essentially serves as a free universal Composr app. 2) Composr Mobile SDK. This is our toolkit that programmers can use to make custom apps. It may take advantage of various APIs built into Composr (e.g. Tapatalk, RSS, REST/JSON API). It may also contain some prebuilt-functionality for particular Composr features - but anyone using it is still expected to be an expert. 3) Mobile mode & responsive design. We hope to continue evolving the native HTML5 implementations, with: a) a strong API-orientated of approach for some part of Composr b) a Phonegap wrapper c) a Bootstrap theme All 3 of these prongs interconnect. Various issues are tagged with "Type: Mobile" to link all mobile work together on the tracker. | ||||
