Summary0002455: Display rating on browse page
DescriptionIf ratings are being used on catalogue entries which they are by default (not sure if there is a way to disable this for all entries) I think it would be useful to show that rating on the browse screen (it's quite an important piece of information).

On the layout I am currently using (which isn't the default) it would fit well under the title given the size of the view button and considering the title doesn't have an edit link underneath. This would look fine for both admins and other users.

FYI rating defaults are based on the mode average of the existing entries. i.e. if you had 10 entries and 6 allowed ratings, the default for new would be on.

Ahh okay, thanks for the information. When it kicks in does it also become a sort key?

Okay, two different catalogues set up. The one with the image grid layout is showing ratings (not centred like the image, and the image grid itself isn't centred either). Additionally, the ratings break the grid layout (images all same dimensions, some rated some not).

The catalogue with tabular listing isn't showing any ratings on the browse page. Several items in both catalogues have been rated by test and guest. Not sure where it is supposed to show on the tabular listing layout.

Seeing a lot of $, Uncomment to show ratings in various catalogue templates, even ones where the ratings are being shown.

Turned ratings off, individually per entry, and allowed reviews which have their own ratings (although these don't seem to show on the browse page).

As you've seen, there is commented template code for putting on ratings to the tabular templates.

However, there were various layout issues you'd spotted - now fixed.
