Summary | 0000261: Language names aren't native
Description | Small issue, but I noticed that the languages shown in the side_language block are shown in the current language (or possibly always English?). It would seem more sensible to show the language names in themselves. For example: "English, Italian, French, German" would be better as "English, Italiano, Francais, Deutsch". This is also the case in the Google Translate block, but I don't know whether that's unavoidable as it's third-party.

|
Attached to the switch to utf-8 issue as native names use native characters: http://people.w3.org/rishida/names/languages.html Once we're on utf-8 it's simply a matter of editing lang/langs.ini Although anyone can edit this right now if they want. |
