Summary0002767: Add date exceptions
DescriptionSeveral CMS systems that use calendars and repeat rules offer an option to provide date exceptions in the repeat rules. I think this would be a useful feature for Composr's calendar system, especially since sometimes a repeating event could find itself being canceled on one or more of the times it happens.

Since Composr's recurring system is pretty complex, it's probably best not to have it offer a list of actual dates to choose from to add as exceptions, but rather just for the user to input those dates in a list manually. Then what would happen is if the calendar detects the event falls on a date specified in the exceptions, it will simply not list the event for that date. I personally think there should also be an option, perhaps on a by-date basis, whether or not a date exception should still count as a happening.
