| Description | Installed this to experiment with translations, got a couple of trivial errors when installed, which have since disappeared, one was about the percentage (completeness of translation I guess) the other was similar in nature. I basically then proceeded to edit some existing content into spanish, but it seems that centering the text doesn't work and it doesn't seem to wrap to fit the container. Also noticed an issue with how the timestamps are displayed (missing the : between hours and seconds. I think this addon needs another glance over. | ||||

Was this from "Translations (rough)" or a final pack that someone has published? Was the pack downloaded within the last few days? |

The translation was downloaded via admin panel from the compo.sr non bundled addons today. |

I've updated the addon, some of these were legacy issues with our pack building process. Other issues would need to be resolved by translators, and that would be communicated on Transifex. I'm not sure what the active situation is with Spanish, I put up the pack as it was pretty far along, but I just decided that numerically. |

I am actually trying to convince an up and coming game publisher to use Composr, and one of their older games has a large Spanish community which is what prompted me to try it out but there were some issues with creating a news post in Spanish. When viewing the EN version, the title of the news was English but the body was Spanish and didn't autowrap like the English version. I had to insert line breaks and it still seems to display differently. Might be a caching thing of course, not really experimented with other languages much. |

Often people on Transifex erroneously translate the left-to-right/right-to-left toggler strings literally, rather than using them like config options. This can result in corruption. We since made it so the exporter will ignore incorrect values for those strings. In any case, if there's something wrong in a translation I don't want that on the tracker as it would potentially spiral out of control with thousands of issues. If there's some reason a language presents some kind of translation difficulty, that could be reported as an issue with a clear screenshot, by someone who's doing the translation. |

Fair comment, I only mentioned the errors as it's available in the addons. Wouldn't know if the translations were right or wrong, but GameSpree have their own translators anyway and I am trying to show them that Composr might be the answer they seek. |

Yeah, the game I play has English, French and German versions currently so the respective community websites need to reflect that. They're currently using Burning Board which seems to separate the 3 languages quite well but they have external support tickets, external shop, external wiki and they have agreed it would be nice to have everything working in one system and they've seen a default install I put up for them on my domain and seemed impressed by it. Another game they publish, Last Chaos, is the one with the Spanish community and as that was the only relevant translation marked as complete I was trying to show them, and found issues with the translation which led us here :) |
