Summary | 0005438: Restrict viewing of member profiles of those who are banned
Description | Often, spammers will include stuff in their profile information. While a staff member could edit a profile and remove it, that can be cumbersome. Plus, there really is no reason that a banned member's profile should still be publicly visible; if they were banned, they shouldn't get any spotlight. * Institute a new privilege: "May view banned members' profiles"; on by default for staff, otherwise off by default. * Those without the privilege will see a warn_exit when trying to view the profile of a banned member saying the member has been banned.

On the Composr (<v11) homesite we have some kind of system to limit display until you had a certain number of points IIRC. I like this though. Simple and straight forward. |
