Summary | 0006142: Allow automated scanning of rootkits
Description | Implement a method where the rootkit detection script can be run by automated means (e.g. a separate server script that someone makes themselves runs it, keeps tabs of it, and alerts of anything strange in the detected changes). Be very careful about how to implement it. Should require a password or something. Should require CLI execution if running the scan immediately / bypassing the UI. Should not use the maintenance password as it might not exist. Perhaps $SITE_INFO can define a list of IP addresses which are allowed to run the script by automated means.
