Yesterday I reported an issue surrounding upgrading from RC 25 to 28 on the issues tracker, and checking today if it has been addressed, I find that the report has disappeared. I find the error message a bit cryptic, as it doesn't really speak as to what the issue is and how it may be corrected.

I get this same error report everytime. Screenshot 2017-01-02 at 9.39.44 PM.png

Hi,

You should have got a couple of email notifications, 1 it being marked duplicated, then a link to the duplicate issue.

It's not deleted, just closed, here's the link back:
0003009: Will not upgrade from RC 25 - screenshot included - Composr CMS feature tracker
And here's the link to the issue I marked it a duplicate of, with a resolution:
0002981: Allowed memory size - Composr CMS feature tracker

Sorry for the issue, this was a nasty bug.

  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about Composr whenever you see the opportunity or support me on Patreon.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying Composr on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
