what causes this? V11

This is a theme question but I am not certain if you want V11 theme questions in the designing forum yet so I am posting it here. Apologies if this is the wrong place.

So I have been playing around with the theming, and got a theme going. There is one aspect though that I can't seem to find to fix. The dropdown menu puts these ugly spaces in between the menu items. I have played with different things and can't seem to find what causes it. Any ideas?

That is very weird. I don't think the default v11 theme does that. So something wonky happened. Use inspect element to try and figure it out. I unfortunately cannot offer any advice beyond that as we don't offer support for custom themes (unless you hire me).

  • Need support for version 10? The core development team is no-longer offering it for free (unless it's a critical bug that breaks your entire site or a serious security hole). Please consider hiring me instead if you need v10 support or a non-critical bug fix. Or, ask the community in the forums!

The interesting thing is all i did was edit the CSS of a theme created by the theme wizard. I didn't check though to see if this issue was present before editing such files. I wonder what edit I did that could have introduced this? I guess I'll start commenting out my added edits and see if it disappears.

UPDATE: the problem just disappeared. I'm not sure why? Maybe something I did yesterday fixed it but I forgot to empty the cache? LOL who knows...

That sounds like a cache issue if it randomly disappears haha.
