| Description | What about a search feature only available for super admins\admins and moderators that displays all the posts in a descending order from the last post\topic added being displayed at the top of the search but instead of links pointing to the thread with the post but to the actual post\first post in a topic and have the ability to then check the box at the end of each link and then be able to delete the posts\topics direct through the search page by doing a topic\poll action. Can be used to delete spam,etc.... much easier. | ||||

Forgot to add that in the search page the actual posts will be displayed so you can see whether or not it is spam and makes moderation easier.Also the 'investigate the user' doesn't work all the time as the ip addresses are not the same all the time and as a result takes longer to delete each individual spam post. |

My Composrised interpretation... - New virtual topic: all posts by a specific member (linked from member profiles) - New virtual topic: all posts by Guests (linked from Guest posts) - New virtual topic: all posts by an IP address (linked from Guest posts) - New virtual topic: all unvalidated posts (Linked from member bar, but only visible if there are any) |

Also been discussing with a potential client the idea of allowing the "posts since last visit" vforum to have an overridable cut-off date. |

Hi, most things on the tracker nowadays are only going to happen if someone sponsors the development or provides a patch. |

Well unfortunately I can't sponsor it nor can I provide a patch as my knowledge of web page modifying\programing is extremely limited... :( I'm rather tired of having to waste part of my time deleting spam at the forums. [edit]I'm sure something like that won't take that much in terms of coding as most of the stuff is there already.It just has to be put together and I'm sure this will be a huge help to a lot of site admins\admins and moderators... |

v9 will have a very nice anti-spam system actually, you'll probably like it :). That was something sponsored a few months back which will land in v9. |
