Summary | 0004442: Creating a new catalog... category issue.
Description | I created a fresh catalog. I added fields such as title, brief description and then a visual image field, and so on... after completing the catalog and saving. I went to add data. Everything but the image field works correctly. It appears that either there is a permissions problem on the folder or its not creating it to hold the image in the folder. I would think that creating a field for an image upload would be straight forward. Is there a missing step needed?

I will add I was typing this from my cell now I am on the computer to fully elaborate. I created the catalog and within it a field for uploading an image. When I uploaded the image after saving the content it points to the directory of "uploads/catalog/E.png. The correct file name and image file ARE in the directory but for some reason the file saved in the database won't take the actual file name after selected and there is not an option to point to the image file so it is a broken link throwing a file not found error. |
