Summary	0005123: Purchasing: State field only visible to purchasers if business is located in the United States
Description	The state field only visible to purchasers if business is located in the United States. This creates a problem: * If the purchaser chooses United States as their country and the business is not US, they do not get a field for "state", which causes the form to fail as state is required. Also, whether the purchaser receives a dropdown or an input of state depends on whether the business is located in the US.

Chris Graham 2022-12-04 19:34 administrator ~0007772	I did just fix that state is a US state drop-down when the country list is there. If country is there (or the business country is not US), state has to be manually typeable. However, I cannot reproduce the other issues. The state field can be enabled via the cpf_enable_state option in any event. I don't know how to reproduce the error about state not being filled in. Is this coming from PayPal or something?

Patrick Schmalstig 2022-12-05 14:09 administrator ~0007775	Actually, no error (on the dev install), but it always defaults to Illinois because of the dummy address being auto-filled (and cannot be changed since the state field is not visible). (Original post marked private because I realized my IP address was exposed in the attached screenshots)
