Summary | 0000538: Proxied forum integration module not working well
Description | Since v7.1.6 we raised our security to stop external redirections out of Composr. Unfortunately this broke the proxied forum integration module if the forum wasn't installed beneath Composr. Fix this by white-listing anything under the forum base URL. Also add a float_surrounder class around the contents. Absence of this was seen to make SMF render very poorly, due to its use of float positioning.

Fixed in git commit 73340d5 (https://github.com/chrisgraham/Composr/commit/73340d5 - link will become active once code pushed) A hotfix (a TAR of files to upload) have been uploaded to this issue. These files are made to the latest intra-version state (i.e. may roll in earlier fixes too if made to the same files) - so only upload files newer than what you have already. Always take backups of files you are replacing or keep a copy of the manual installer for your version, and only apply fixes you need. These hotfixes are not necessarily reliable or well supported. Not sure how to extract TAR files to your Windows computer? Try 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/). hotfix-538, 2012-05-29 12am.tar (92,160 bytes) |
