| Summary | 0005601: Add ability to send anonymous warning PTs | ||||
| Description | Some sites may prefer the ability to send warning PTs anonymously to discourage staff harassment (since violators won't know which staff member issued the warning). Add this as a tick box option on the warnings form. If ticked and a PT is sent, the PT is sent from system instead of the staff member issuing the warning. Furthermore, the PT is auto-closed so the member cannot reply to it (replying to a system topic would be pointless as no one would get notified of it). This should only affect the PT. Action logs would still track which staff member sent the warning. Be very clear the tick box is for anonymous PT, not anonymous warning. | ||||
| Additional Information | We will also need a new column on f_warnings to specify when a warning is anonymous, and then omit the staff member on the warnings profile tab if anonymous. Staff can still see who issued the warning via the warnings history screen or via the action log. But members can view their own warnings tab. So we will need to anonymise staff there. | ||||
