Summary0005673: No Homeslider catalog after running setupwizard
DescriptionNo Homeslider, pictures or content.

Was this an error for me not choosing the dummy content I wonder?

I went back to view the home slider info and it's gone the only thing I said I didn't want was the default dummy info installed.

I'm pretty sure it's because of 0005671 . I'll keep this open just in case it ends up being a separate issue. The default sliders are not part of demo / dummy content; they should always be there.

Also did you try looking in galleries? It's a gallery, not a catalogue.

Yes and the gallery is empty now

Hmm it's possible maybe that the sliders are not part of *adding* dummy content and thus always exists, but were added by mistake to the *removal* of dummy content (which setup wizard triggers), thus got removed. I'll check into it.

Yea a possible. I just went in to module management and found that "Galleries" was uninstalled after I ran setup wizard and I did not request its removal.

Oh, that's a problem. So you had the galleries addon ticked on the setup wizard?

I tried to reproduce this issue but no success so far. Running through the setup wizard using all defaults, the galleries addon (and all other addons) remain installed, and the homepage hero slider still exists. I also tested without test content, and same results.

Did you do anything else that was different from the default settings when going through the setup wizard?

As I remember, that particular page I didn't set anything. I took the default. So if that was unchecked this "could" have been the issue however on the other installs I did not experience any problems as such.

Going to assume that an installation profile that doesn't include galleries was chosen, or otherwise it because unticked through user action.
If that's not the case, issue can be reopened.
