| Summary | 0006121: Revisions: Organise file-based revisions better | ||||
| Description | File revisions are typically saved in the same directory as the Comcode page / file itself with a timestamp. This can get very messy, very quickly when many revisions are saved. Let's fix this. Have the file revisions system use a "_revisions" folder within the working directory, followed by a folder for each page/file (named as the page/file without the extension), with the revisions saved in those folders. | ||||
| Additional Information | This makes revision archiving (for files) obsolete; remove this feature as well unless it is also used for database revisions. Will also need upgrade code to re-organise existing file revisions. | ||||

I think it would be useful to be able to choose what revisions you want to keep track off. Currently (I believe) it's either on or off. |
