Does the Page just get longer as more blog posts are added?

I have been writting blogs for my newly revised and remade website. I have about 12 blogs to it at the moment and I see that the page just gets longer as I add another blog.

You can go there and see what I mean by clicking here.

So is this the way the software means for it to be - does the page just get longer and longer as more and more blog posts are added to it? Or maybe there is a setting or a switch that I am missing somewhere that has other options?

There is a configuration option under the Feature Options, News group, called number of news entries per page. This controls how many show up there. The default is 30.

  • Need support for version 10? The core development team is no-longer offering it for free (unless it's a critical bug that breaks your entire site or a serious security hole). Please consider hiring me instead if you need v10 support or a non-critical bug fix. Or, ask the community in the forums!
  • Do you enjoy Composr? Please consider contributing your talent to the project or recommending Composr to others. Even small contributions make a big impact in the Composr community.
  • Do you have feedback for us? You can report bugs, suggest features, or give feedback on the Free support options page.
  • Do you need professional service with your Composr website? Please consider contracting me for your needs through my company, PDStig, LLC. Doing so will also help fund Composr development.
  • Want to watch live streams of me developing Composr CMS? Please subscribe to me on Twitch to be notified when I stream. Composr development streams are usually spontaneous / not scheduled in advance as work priorities come first.

Not sure if relevant but there is also the Infinite scrolling option which is enabled by default. If you want pagination once you change the limit then you might need to disable Infinite scrolling. Not sure if it affects blogs but I assume so.

Are you sure that's enabled by default? If so, it shouldn't be because it's an experimental feature. That's a tiny bug if it's enabled by default.

Well on a recent install I disabled it, and pretty sure I've done it a few times before when playing with galleries. 97% sure.

I just checked the code, it is indeed enabled by default. That's very strange. I'm going to make a note to disable that by default in v11. Infinite scrolling was always experimental, and it's not good for people with accessible technologies. Pagination complies with accessibility standards much better.

Setup > Feature options, general section

Hah, I just checked, it's enabled by default in v10 but already changed to disabled by default in v11. I might have already done that a long time ago, or Chris might have.
