Some directories with no index
Given the requisite CHMOD settings for any CMS of this type, and the fact that I do not like blank pages, I tend to create custom index.html pages for my site. I do not ever include an index.html where I have index.php but in this case, there are a great many directories and subdirectories that have no index page. (I have a complete list available for the Developers if you would like but do not want to publish it publicly for obvious reasons)What I do not know, is whether including the index.html and preventing access to the directory shell will break anything. I see absolutely no reason that it would, but it seems odd that so many directories include the index.html and some others do not.
I may be trying this on a few of the pages, but after going through each and every directory one at a time, I am going to take a break for a bit ;)

I did some checking. Are we talking stuff under data/ckeditor? Or maybe some stuff in non-bundled addons? Stuff from third parties like that are mostly left as-is in the Composr directory tree, so if they don't have index.html files, we don't include them. That said, on reflection I think we should - so I've changed it in v11.
Feel free to mention if there are other directories.
Anyway, yes, you can do what you want regarding adding more index.html files. Even if Composr tries to do operations on every file in a directory, Composr is explicitly programmed to ignore them.

That being said, I still will not be adding any html index files to directories where there is an index.php as it may conflict, but in any directories where I can go to the link directly, I will be working on it.
