HUGE problem with v10.1 beta18

How'd ya like that for click-bait lol!So, v10.1 beta18 installed flawlessly.
Only one file missing...errors.log. Normally after installing a CMS, I see a big errors.log file. No errors after the install.
VPS, Linux 3.10.0-957.5.1.el7.x86_64, 2GB memory, 128M memory_limit, PHP 7.2 (ea-php72), 10.2.23-MariaDB
