I uploaded and extracted etc etc. Ran install and got the following error.

There is no way you have 135 corupt files on there, so what did i do wrong? I will retry if i know what i didnt do correctly on Git.
Also i have upgraded to the latest V10 on the other server.

It installed anyway, so i guess the error means, dont worry about it i will work anyway. Or something like that

So off to take it for a test drive!

They are classed as corrupt because they are works in progress and not part of a specific release, You did right to just ignore in this case.

I used my standard procedure, when in doubt, ignore it and hope it goes away

This is the fist branch i have used, that dosnt constantly moan about upping this limit or that limit.
I havnt had much chance to work with it today. Trying to decide if we swap to branch 11 now or later. Doing it now means possible bumps along the way, doing it later means a major upgrade on alot of installs. My gut says do it now, semi responsive is probably the best way. I must be the only guy left on the planet who insists on a 32 inch screen for looking at the web lol.
Finally had to retire my CRT

So please consider it just an early test flight.

- If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying Composr on fun personal projects.
- If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Definitely don't build anything permanent on a github branch, we're not going to maintain database and theme compatibility on it so it'd need expert attention to update back to the future mainline release.
So please consider it just an early test flight.

Ok i will pick a school and put it on the class room server there. They find the holes alot quicker than i do! So far i like it.
My focus at the moment is on another bit of software, that is causing untold grief. Why does no one listen when you tell them 'dont use that!'.
Some times developers try to be clever and forget most end users are not developers! yes end user could be a website visitor, but most websites are not now taken care of by a webmaster, not unless its a huge company. Even then the trend is towards 'technicians'.
Sorry this has nothing to do with Composr, i am ranting over something completely different!
