(Wow, I haven't been back in ages. I sure miss this site. Glad I am back!)

So, I have a friend who wanted to start a website using a CMS. He asked me for any recommendations and I of course recommended Composr since I've been a long time fan.

He downloaded the quick installer for v10.0.18. When he clicked the install.php, he got this on Step 2:

--------------------

Warning: filemtime(): stat failed for *******/public_html/themes/default/templates/INSTALLER_HTML_WRAP.tpl in *******/public_html/install.php(15265) : eval()'d code on line 826

Warning: filemtime(): stat failed for *******/public_html/themes/default/templates/PASSWORD_CHECK_JS.tpl in *******/public_html/install.php(15265) : eval()'d code on line 826

--------------------

Any suggestions I can tell him?

Update: He found Composr on Softaculous and installed it from that and it works.

Hey Eric,

Good to see you back here :).

I've located the issue and it'll be fixed.

Become a fan of Composr on Facebook or add me as a friend. Add me on on Twitter. Follow me on Minds (where I am most active). Support me on Patreon

Was I helpful?
  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about Composr whenever you see the opportunity or support me on Patreon.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying Composr on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

This one happened to me too, Eric. I reported this issue in my last post of tracker #3610.

I know you've found a work-around, but just to document it in case others are experiencing this, I had to upload the contents of Composr manually instead of using the extractor.
