Ok, this has popped up. I've checked my calendar event types and all of them seem to have an imaged assigned to them. The message does have a mouseover, but my screen reader isn't wanting to click it, or if it is I'm not seeing any other information. Anyone have an idea?

Ok, I'm not seeing the error any more. I went in to my calendar event types to the last type I added. I had uploaded an image to use. Well the image was there, but so was a copy of the image for some reason. My wife said both images looked the same, but to my screen reader one was named as the filename I gave it before uploading it, but the copy was named 58a893d495be22.51785854, the very name in the error message. I'm a bit confused as to what happened for it to make a copy and name it such as it did, and why if the image was there was I receiving an error.

Hi chip, I dont know for sure but I will make a guess.

The file name has a dot in it then numbers, so in effect the software was looking for a file type of dot 51785854

Obviously there is as far as I am aware, no such type of pic file smiley face.

So I think the error was due to the software looking for file 58a893d495be22 dot 51785854

If it had been say dot jpeg, then all would be well. Does that make sense question mark.

Hi,

It's a very complex problem. I have resolved for the next release.

  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about Composr whenever you see the opportunity or support me on Patreon.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying Composr on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
