Probably a dumb question

Question about Composr capabilities

So I looked at Composr a few years back for a project that ended up not happening.  However, because I need a community portal for a website, and remembered how much I liked Composr, I'm back!

But this is probably going to be a dumb question, so I apologize in advance.  No excuse other than I'm working a couple full time jobs right now and am not finding what I need on the website.

What I need is basically:
1) a section that is just a list of links. I'm pretty sure I can hand-code this if I need to.  The links are websites that I host, and they're under certain categories (hosted domains, archives with multimedia, etc).
2) I have an old software package that doesn't work on modern PHP (called PHPMotion) that had about 500 videos.  I need to be able to host them on Composr, and am assuming I can, but wanted to make sure.
3) Chat - yes, I know this works out of the box!
4) Image hosting if needed - I believe this is in there, too, but am not 100% sure
5) A "rec list" - which Chris and I worked on for my previous project, so I know is possible.

So my big thing is the videos and image hosting.  I just want to make sure before I go down the path with what little free time I have right now.

Thank you!

Hi and welcome back
  1. There is a bundled links catalogue with categorisation which could serve that purpose.
  2. Galleries may be ideal. More info here.
  3. Yay :)
  4. Galleries handles images, but there is an image of the day addon available if preferable.
  5. Also Yay :)
Hope this helps

Why am I not finding Galleries anywhere?  From what I can tell it's a Module - but I'm not finding it in the modules to install list?  Again, probably a dumb question, but…

edit: Good lord, as soon as I pressed "Save" I found the add-on.  Playing with it now.
