I have content that shows differently for FB-auth accounts, and I was using $FB_CONNECT_UID to determine if they were a FB login or not. This no longer seems to work. It returns blank always.

Thoughts?

Hi,

I just tested and it's working on here for me (for this account).
I don't believe there have been any changes to that. The only FB changes are to do with profile synching when logging in (as FB have been changing their API).

Are you completely sure the account you're testing with is still tied into Facebook? If you do a password reset on it that would disassociate the account for example.

Alright, so I'm almost certain that using {$FB_CONNECT_UID} while using SU worked, but it appears it will only return a value if I'm actually logged into the FB account. I'm probably mistaken though.

Sorry for that.

No problem. So yes, that symbol connects direct to the Facebook API, which won't be running if the base user is not running on Facebook. The results using SU are going to be unreliable, because it's always going to get the result from the Facebook API (if running) and not the Composr database.
