Hi,

There is framework support for this, but the default theme is not maintaining it.

The problem is it would be highly costly to maintain, because any theme change would need to be tested in both. I shudder to think of the cost if we implemented responsive design in an official theme and were testing every responsive breaking point for both rtl-and-ltr text.

We're planning to create a formal system for allowing people to sponsor stuff that has ongoing cost:
0002578: Official non-maintained status - Composr CMS feature tracker
We'd need to find someone who could sponsor around $3k initially and around $1k per year on an ongoing basis. That could be multiple people grouping together. If we do a responsive theme, it'd be more costly though.

Or someone can submit pull requests to us on git, fixing any issues they find.

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying Composr on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
