Location to Edit?

Hi there, I've looked around and I cant seem to find the location of the rules page? When a new user signs up it is saying "(Remember: this is a default Composr page and should probably be edited as needed.)" I can't seem to find its location!

Hi,

It's the _rules page. You can find it either from Pages under the CMS zone, or if you go to the rules page as admin I believe it will show an inline editing link specifically for _rules (as it's embedded into there too).

  • If so, please let others know about Composr whenever you see the opportunity or support me on Patreon.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying Composr on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

You should see it under the Content menu, it'll be something like "Pages (Comcode Pages)".

Or, manually go to the http://yoursite/index?page=_rules and you'll find an edit link under it.

Thanks I found it. For some reason there is two _rules and rules. I just copied the text from _rules and pasted into rules. Now when  user signs up they see the rules instead of that default thing. Thanks for your help.

I think you mean you copied from rules into _rules.

Actually, you've found a bug, sorry about that. We reorganised the files within v10. The Setup Wizard was supposed to write into _rules but wasn't updated.
