security setting for Publication time

I'm starting to take advantage of the Blog feature of Composr and I just noticed that the option for "Publication time" is available to my Staff members (who have some Admin rights) but not for my 'normal' members.  I'd like that option to be available to normal members as well but cannot seem to find where that particular security setting is located.

Can somebody please point me in the right direction?

Submission privileges. "Edit special resource metadata".
It's not fine-grained though, it allows changing view counts etc too.

  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about Composr whenever you see the opportunity or support me on Patreon.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying Composr on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Thanks Chris.  Unfortunately, after applying this security setting as you pointed out, I am still not seeing the Publication time available for normal members.

This is what I see for staff members:

And this is what I see for normal members (even after setting the Edit special resource metadata):

Anything else I should do?

Ah sorry. Remove that privilege, set 'Defer the publication of their submissions to a later date'.
I was thinking about the add date field, which is different.

No worries.  That worked great.  Thanks!
