So I just did the automatic/easy upgrade from RC 14 to RC 15 this morning, and once it was completed (the files all transfered and showed up as done) it would not let me go to any of the next steps in the upgrader and everything now just returns a 500 internal server error. Base URL, upgrader, anything I try.

If it matters i'm using IIS 7.0. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Sorry about that. There was an amend to web.config, but silly me I made an XML error.

A new RC is coming very soon, as this had a couple of major issues.

Okay, so RC15 was actually re-released yesterday with a couple of emergency fixes. It should be fine now.

New interesting issue. In the admin zone dashboard I'm getting a weird SQL error on the comcode checklist module. Nothing else seems to be impacted so it's not a huge issue but I figured I'd mention it.

Unfortunately a query has failed [SELECT COUNT(*) FROM cms_community_billboard WHERE (activation_time IS NULL) LIMIT 1] [Table 'composrtest.cms_community_billboard' doesn't exist] (version: 10 RC15, PHP version: 5.4.24, URL: /data/snippet.php?snippet=block&auth_key=997&block_map=defer%3D1%2Cblock%3Dmain_staff_checklist&utheme=admin&keep_session=64fe9d2803ec8)

I don't even have a cms_community_billboard table which is interesting.

That's strange. At some point did you install the community_billboard addon?

Maybe you installed it, backed up the files, uninstalled it, and you reverted the files from it installed it but a database from after installing it?

This is a list of the addons files which should not be there if you've uninstalled it…

Could be it. With all the band aids and trickery I was doing on the install, I just decided to do a fresh install from RC 15 and import the DB tables for my content which worked out better for me.

Good to know to check the addons next time if I have similar issues.

Ok. I have also tuned the code for the addons a bit so that they tolerate missing tables better (i.e. disable their integrations into other features if not properly installed).
