Comcode editor spellcheck function?

What is the spellcheck function supposed to accomplish
September 22, 2016While using the Edit Comcode page editor I checked the spell check box.
I then purposely misspelled a word in the text area of the page
When I then did the preview I get this:
Have I misinterpreted the functionality of the spellcheck?

I can confirm a bug when I test, which is now fixed for the next release.
It might have only been an issue on PHP7, I'm not sure.

I just check this issue and it appears to still be malfunctioning. I'm using RC18 which I believe was releases on Sept 27th. Your note indicated that the spellcheck issue was fixed on Sept 23rd.
Did the fix not make it to RC18 or can I be of more help in locating the problem.

Do you have pspell or hunspell or both? (You can find out in your phpinfo)

Thanks for the reply.
My site is hosted on InMotionHosting. I logged into the site AdminZone and generated/saved a phpinfo htm file which I then copied into Notepad++ and searched for the two references you gave. Rather than post the full phpinfo, I just copied the relevant search results. If you want the entire file, just let me know.
