groups.google.com banned to reduce spam

This is just a transparent informative message to let you know that I have banned the use of "groups.google.com" in any content submissions on compo.sr . This is because over the last several months, we've seen an influx of spammers mass-spamming the forums with links to various spam Google Groups.
Any submissions containing "groups.google.com" will be blocked by the word filter system.
If you actually need to post a legitimate link for groups.google.com, replace the dots with the literal word "dot". It obviously won't result in a hyperlink, but people can easily understand what you mean and change it accordingly in their URL bar.
I intend on this only being a temporary ban for several months until hopefully Google Group spammers get tired of trying and move on.
