I have a question. How can I create Classifieds Adverts with Classifieds Ads?
I have imported the addon now and there is at most a few addon settings, but I find in the backend of Composr no way to create such adverts.
In the front end I can find something like "My Adverts". How can I create it in the backend?
Thanks in advance.

Site director

- Create a catalogue for the adverts (Content Management > Catalogues > Add Catalogue)
- Set the fields for the catalogue as appropriate
- Set the permissions to "Add/Post/Submit entries" (i.e. not unvetted, not bypassing validation)
- Add whatever categories you want to your catalogue
- Go to Admin Zone > Setup > Classifieds pricing
- Set prices up against your catalogue
- Make sure your catalogue is on your menus
Users will find add links when browsing the catalogue. Their entries will be added as non-validated. From their classifieds module they may then pay for their classified advert to go live (this uses the eCommerce module, validating the entry upon payment).

- If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying Composr on fun personal projects.
