Most of the CMS's out there require you to locate a theme and plugins. The really good themes and plugins cost money. Even if you find some good plugins, it's always a game of Russian Roulette because every new plugin you add can break the site. When you break a Wordpress site, that's usually a wrap, as they say, and it's time to wipe it and start over. Same with the other CMS's out there, except Compo.sr.
With Compo.sr CMS, literally everything you need is built in to the software.
Compo.sr is a good choice for a blog. Why?
A Wordpress or Joomla or Drupal site looks exactly like every other such site. Also, every bot in the world that's trying to hack a password to post spam is specifically hunting for Wordpress, Joomla, and Drupal sites to exploit. They will always be a target.
Compo.sr has several layers of security, including its own scripting language that protects the software from code that can break the site. Compo.sr is ready to go with a blog configuration built right in. If you wanted to make your site more interactive, you can simply toggle those features on and off at will. No plugins to install that are risky and often not compatible.
That's my two cents ;)
