I am a self-taught webmaster. I am a retired photographer and the best part of my professional life was in film. I play a Martin D-28 guitar and develop websites. (At the same time!!!) I have written a novel and am working on another as I learn I have a blog called If It where I let it all hang out.

I live in Glen Ellen, CA which is just a few miles north of Sonoma in the Valley of the Moon on Highway 12. I am 68 years old and a Vietnam combat vet. I love people and software.

I came across doing a search for social networking. I have tried a lot of them but found that there is support for which absolutely made my day. As to working with servers and such I probably know just enough to successfully install most software but also just enough to blow up my hosting service if I go beyond my limitations. Hey, life is good if you let nothing bother you. That which bothers you, stay away from.

Glad to be here on a forum where one can actually get an answer to a question. I won't camp here but will be on when I run up against something I can't figure out on my own.

Hi, nice to see you here :).

Become a fan of Composr on Facebook or add me as a friend. Add me on on Twitter. Follow me on Minds (where I am most active). Support me on Patreon

Was I helpful?
  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about Composr whenever you see the opportunity or support me on Patreon.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying Composr on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
