GST (Goods and Services Tax) is an acronym for Goods and Services Tax. It's a type of indirect tax that took the place of a slew of other indirect taxes in India. It was first released in the year 2017. Since then, goods and services have been taxed under a single law known as GST. In layman's terms, GST is a type of tax that a client pays when purchasing products or services. The tax is not paid directly to the government by the client, but rather by the producer, vendor, or provider of services. Links have been temporarily removed to disincentivise spam.
